PassiNV: Zero-Energy Passive Ventilation

PassiNV delivers continuous fresh air and extracts stale air through separate, sealed channels – powered entirely by natural wind and thermal forces. No electricity. No ductwork. No maintenance.

How PassiNV Works

PassiNV shares the same dual-channel architecture as PassiHEAT but omits the heat exchanger – delivering maximum airflow where thermal recovery is not a requirement.

At the heart of PassiNV is a dual-channel design with strictly separated airflow paths. One channel handles the continuous supply of fresh outdoor air into the building. The other handles the continuous exhaust of stale, polluted indoor air to the outside.

Because the two streams are physically separated throughout, there is no risk of cross-contamination or short-circuiting – stale exhaust air cannot re-enter the building through the inlet.

Without a heat exchanger in the airflow path, PassiNV offers lower resistance and higher volumetric flow rates than PassiHEAT. This makes it the preferred choice in environments that require robust air changes – such as warehouses, industrial units, and plant rooms – where incoming air temperature is less critical than throughput volume.

The entire system is driven by wind pressure and thermal buoyancy. No electricity. No fans. No mechanical parts to service or replace.

Fresh outdoor air is drawn continuously into the building through a dedicated inlet channel. The geometry of the unit accelerates airflow under low-wind conditions, ensuring effective ventilation even in sheltered locations.
