PassiHVAC Limited is a UK-based building performance and ventilation company, founded in 2022, delivering natural ventilation, passive heat recovery, environmental performance modelling, and sustainable building design solutions across the construction and building services sectors. Our work is grounded in research-informed methodologies and aligned with UK regulatory frameworks, including Approved Documents Part L and Part O, CIBSE guidance, and emerging net-zero policy trajectories.

KAISER CALAUTIT

Founder and Managing Director

Kaiser is the Managing Director of PassiHVAC Limited and an Industrial  Engineer with more than 40 years of experience in the manufacturing, construction, oil & gas and steel industry working at some of the biggest companies like Toyota Motor Corp., Sumitomo Corp. and Arabian American Oil Company.  Kaiser held several management positions and was involved in prestigious projects in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and UAE.

Technical Director

Dr John is the Technical Director of PassiHVAC Limited and a leading UK expert in passive ventilation and low-energy ventilation systems. He is an associate professor in Building Technology at the University of Nottingham, specialising in indoor air quality and building performance.

An internationally recognised indoor air quality expert, John leads the research-driven development of PassiHVAC’s passive ventilation solutions, ensuring they are scientifically validated, regulation-ready, and aligned with UK net-zero objectives.

Sustainability Director

Murtaza leads the sustainability division at PassiHVAC Limited. He holds a PhD in building technology and specialises in building performance, environmental analysis, and evidence-based decarbonisation strategies, supporting clients across design, retrofit, and operational stages. He is a Carbon Literate professional, delivering Carbon Literacy training to built-environment practitioners to support climate awareness, behavioural change, and practical emissions reduction.

Research Director

Hao is the R&D specialist at PassiHVAC Limited, his expertise is in passive cooling design, building energy analysis and optimisation. With a dedicated focus on passive buildings, low-carbon structures, and sustainable architectural technologies, Hao excels in data analysis using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) techniques and energy consumption simulation software. His proficiency extends to hands-on experience with extensive field experiments and wind tunnel testing.

ABDULLAH DIK

Technology Director 

Dr Abdullah Dik specialises in sustainable energy technologies and renewable energy integration. His expertise includes electric vehicle (EV) smart charging, vehicle-to-grid (V2G) systems, and the integration of heat pumps with renewable energy sources to support low-carbon energy networks.

 

His work focuses on the interaction between EVs, smart grids, and energy-efficient buildings, contributing to resilient and scalable solutions for carbon reduction and the transition to net zero.
